The Physiotherapy Department at Ozone Superspeciality Hospital is committed to achieving excellence in patient centered physiotherapy through promoting health, knowledge and independence, with empowered staff in an atmosphere of genuine care, interest and respect.
Our Physiotherapists provide treatment to individuals to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and function throughout life. This includes providing treatment in circumstances where movement and function are compromised by injury, disease, ageing or environmental factors and post-operative conditions.
The physiotherapy team is led by Dr. Harshal Wankhade, Physiotherapist Manager and includes physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants and a ward boy for male patients and ward mavshi for female patients.
Following referral to the service, a physiotherapist will assess the client history and, through physical examination, arrive at a diagnosis and establish a care management plan. Physiotherapy is provided in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. The department is divided into individual areas of specialty, with each area led by a senior physiotherapist or clinical specialist including:
