This is one of the most important Super Specialty Departments of Ozone Superspeciality Hospital which renders to seriously ill patients with life-threatening conditions due to Cardiovascular Disease, Trauma, OP Poisoning, Snake Bite, Organ failure & other Diseases including Pandemic, who require life support systems and intensive monitoring. It has two units, Critical Care unit and High Dependency Intensive Care unit having a total strength of 27 and 10 beds respectively. The Units, with its state-of-the-art equipment and trained & qualified manpower, work round the clock to provide high end quality care to all critically ill patients. It consists of experienced Consultants, Intensivists, Nurses, Technicians & Physiotherapists who are committed to and drive for advance patient care. The Department of Critical Care Medicine also emphasizes on Academics and constant growth of knowledge and development.

It provides regular training in Critical Care for Doctors & Nurses from various other centers across the State. It was the 1st Hospital in Vidharbha to obtain accreditation from The American Heart Association for lifesaving skills in First Aid, CPR, and AED and it had a successful track record in cardiovascular diseases. The Department has trained many Doctors, RMO’s and Nurses through various other Critical Care Courses with a high success rate.

The Doctors & Intensivists at Ozone Superspeciality Hospital are actively involved with Continuing Medical Education & Training in Critical Care Medicine. They are invited Faculties at various National & Zonal Conferences & Workshops apart from the many presentations at various levels.
